Be A CLAWS Volunteer

Since the creation of our organization over 30 years ago, countless giving individuals have contributed their time in unpaid service to our cause. Walking dogs, bottle-feeding motherless puppies and kittens, answering phones, feeding feral cat colonies, and fostering abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats are just a few of the assignments these loyal animal lovers perform.

They also perform behind-the-scenes duties such as forwarding applications, returning phone calls, and acting as adoption consultants. By doing so, our dedicated volunteers help improve the quality of life for the hundreds of pets that are helped by CLAWS each year.

Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated at CLAWS. Because we rely so much on the time and help offered by these generous individuals, we invite everyone from teenagers to seniors to join our volunteer corps.

CLAWS realizes that some people may want to help us but already have many demands on their time. Several special events scheduled at different times throughout the year require additional hands and hearts to ensure success. Those who want to help on a limited basis are welcome to volunteer for one or more CLAWS events, such as our annual Tricky Tray Auction. Church, Temple and School Groups can help, too. Blanket and towel drives, special fundraisers, and the like are some ways that folks from these organizations devote time for the benefit of our animal orphans.

Please apply to be a CLAWS volunteer by filling out our online application.
